Vorraussetzung: ein SMTP-Server ( z.B. postfix-dovecot-imapd )

• Debian ( ab 5.0 ): dovecot-imapd
• openSuSE ( ab 11.4 ): dovecot20
• centOS ( ab 6 ): dovecot

Default Konfiguration funktioniert out of the box. Ansehen mit:

doveconf -N

Wir empfehlen die Mails im Maildir-Format zu speichern: ¹⁾
